Infertility for females is usually a result of the eggs unable to travel from the ovaries to the uterus. Interventional radiologists can prevent this disorder with a procedure known as selective salpingography. Selective salpingography is less invasive than surgery with fewer complications. Very small tubes called catheters are placed inside the fallopian tubes and any foreign material is removed which allows for successful pregnancy.
