Pediatric Interventional Radiology
IRP's pediatric interventional radiologist is a board certified radiologist who is fellowship trained in percutaneous (through the skin) interventions using guided imaging in infants, children and adolescents.
IRP is the only radiology group in the state of Indiana that has a "dedicated" board certified pediatric interventional radiologist and certified physician assistant (PA). They provide service to Riley Hospital for Children.

Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner
Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner are two healthcare professions leading the way in providing direct care for interventional radiology patients. Physician Assistants receive intensive training and education from nationally accredited programs. Working closely and under the supervision of radiologists, our staff of Physician Assistants is relied upon to care for and help treat in the diagnosis and treatment of our patient population.
A Nurse Practitioner is often times the “point of entry” as the initial healthcare provider for many of our patients. Working in tandem with the radiologist, Nurse Practitioner may gather vital information, perform exams, and order tests. Their educational and training background includes specific and advanced professional instruction and generally requires a master’s degree.
