Two of our radiologists were named “Top Doctors” in the November issue of Indianapolis Monthly magazine – Matt Johnson and Val Jackson.
Valerie Jackson received the Gold Medal of the Society of Breast Imaging in April, 2007.
Shenghong Ju, IR Research Fellow, was in China in September where she was interviewed for a prestigious Chinese grant. She was one of 2 radiologists in her province to win this competition for the “outstanding medical doctor” award from Jiang Su Province. This award was worth 1,000,000 Yuan & required her to orally defend her application in person.
Kristine Mosier gave a presentation on “Imaging of the central skull base: familiar territory and new horizons” at the IU School of Medicine course “Skull Base 2007”.
Richard Gunderman was a speaker at the IU MSC Leadership Day 2007.
Karmen Yoder received an excellent score on her R21 application titled, "Dopamine, Prediction Error, and Human Alcohol Consumption". Kris Mosier has also received an excellent score for her recent R01 application. Funding decisions for these NIH grants will not be made until January 2008.
