Mission

The Indiana Center for Excellence in Biomedical Imaging was created to serve the academic, medical, and business communities of Indiana as:

• A focal point for multi-institutional collaboration in basic and applied research to develop novel biomedical imaging modalities, and for related technology transfer to the private sector

  
  

• A resource providing state-of-the-art biomedical imaging technologies in support of academic and private-sector research initiatives

  
  

• A centralized site for compounding of radiopharmaceuticals that will be distributed for clinical use in a state-wide network of hospitals and diagnostic imaging centers
