Radiology electives are offered every month except for December.  Most elective months last 4 weeks and we allow you, the student, to pick which elective areas you would like to spend two (2) week periods at.  The choices are Abdominal, Chest, ER, Fluoro, Interventional, Mammography, Neuro, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics and Ultrasound. The hospital location is sometimes dependent on staff availability.

To sign up for a special elective, please contact Dennis Deal or Nancy Mitchell at the Office of Curricular Affairs at 274-1973 and Ruth Patterson, Radiology Medical Student Coordinator, at 278-6302.  You will need to fill out a  elective form and list the elective as 93 RA 720.
