The fellow is expected to attend a series of afternoon courses conducted by the Department of Radiology. The courses consist of biostatistics (three afternoons), outcomes analysis (one afternoon), health care economics and politics (one afternoon), and medical ethics and social issues (one afternoon).

The fellow is expected to attend the weekly Monday morning IR lecture series, Tuesday morning meetings (Research, Inventory, Morbidity & Mortality, and Arteriovascular Malformation) meetings, and Friday morning Vascular Conference conferences, biweekly Thursday noon Hemodialysis Access Conference, and monthly Thursday morning Multidisciplinary Hepatic Tumor Conference.
