A one-year fellowship is offered in abdominal imaging that includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Computed tomography of the abdomen and pelvis
- Ultrasonography including general abdominal, genitourinary, and vascular (peripheral and abdominal)
- Magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen and pelvis
- Imaging guided needle biopsies and fluid aspiration procedures
- Genitourinary imaging
- Gastrointestinal imaging
The successful applicant will be expected to fully participate in the clinical activities of the department and will be involved in all aspects of abdominal imaging. This fellowship program offers broad exposure to current imaging and imaging guided interventional procedures.
In addition to clinical experience, the successful fellow will be expected to participate in one educational or research project. Access to a fully equipped animal imaging laboratory is available.
