PATIENTS & FAMILIES

Indiana Center of Excellence in Biomedical Imaging (IN-CEBI) is affiliated with the IU Radiology Outpatient Imaging Network, IU School of Medicine, and IU Medical Group. IN-CEBI, located on the IU Medical School campus, offers state-of-the-art imaging technology in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Computed Tomography (CT), and PET-CT. IU Radiology has been a pioneer in medical imaging for the state of Indiana, purchasing the first PET scanner in the state (1993), the first PET-CT scanner (2000), and now the first 3T MRI scanner (2003) in the state. These imaging systems allow physicians to visualize changes in the body that may be caused by disease and/or injury.
