The GE Signa
Magnetic Resonance System

The GE Signa Magnetic Resonance system is a high performance, whole-body imaging system operating at 1.5Tesla. The system is equipped with a superconducting magnet of 60cm bore size and an Echo Speed gradient system. The maximum gradient strength and slew rate are 22mT/m and 20mT/m/s, respectively. The system can image in any orthogonal or oblique plane (including single and double axis obliques), using a wide variety of pulse sequences ranging from fast spin-echo to snap-shot EPI and spiral imaging.
