IndyPet II
The IndyPET II is a high-resolution small field-of-view PET scanner with an axial field of view of approximately 10 cm and dynamic imaging capabilities. This new scanner, developed by Hutchins, et al., will allow greater throughput of subjects and decreased image reconstruction time. Thus, cutting expenses for the researcher. The ability to provide dynamic imaging capability allows the user to assess physiologic uptake of novel and derivative imaging tracers over time in vivo. The 2.5 mm FWHM resolution capability of this scanner is superior to other high-resolution small field-of-view systems currently available. |
