Introduction to Radiographic Angulation Distortion

Basic problem as seen from the side

   This web program will help the radiography student to understand the concept of  Radiographic Angulation Distortion. The image above shows an sphere on a flat surface and a cube suspended above. Of course, it is easy to see the sphere from this perspective. Suppose however, you can only view this scene from above and you cannot move either object. The scene might look like this:

    In this situation, we can only see the top of the cube. Remember, we want to see the sphere. Obviously, all the viewer needs to do is angle their head and look below the cube. You can see an animation by going to Oncourse R150 and finding it in resources.
